Appreciation – OFHEO
The “repeat sales” data indicates that homes were still appreciating compared to a year earlier in Washington, but the apparent appreciation was near zero, and quarter to quarter declines were prevalent. Data is for the 2nd quarter of 2008 compared to prior year.  In our region, Only Yakima had greater appreciation than Spokane, and Eastern Washington clearly surpassed the Western part of the state.  Coeur d’Alene prices as of the second quarter were flat compared to a year earlier.
